What Tax Reclaim reads from your Swissquote file
- Reads every Dividend transaction with its ISIN, its own per-row currency, and the date.
- The amount column is Swissquote's Net Amount, so where a withholding estimate is made it grosses the figure back up rather than multiplying a net amount as if it were gross.
- Swissquote's transaction export carries no withholding-tax row, so the tax is estimated from the source country's statutory non-resident rate and reviewed by you before anything is saved.
How to export from Swissquote

Open your Swissquote transactions
Log in to Swissquote and go to Account > Transactions.

Select the period
Choose the date range covering the dividend payments you want to reclaim tax on.

Export the CSV
Download the transaction list as CSV. It is semicolon-delimited and includes a Net Amount and a per-row currency.

Open the import wizard, pick Swissquote, and upload the CSV. Review each estimated withholding figure before confirming.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the withholding tax estimated?
Swissquote's transaction export has no withholding-tax line. The estimate uses the source country's statutory non-resident rate for the payment year and is shown as an estimate you must confirm or correct.
The column says Net Amount — does that matter?
It matters a great deal. Because the amount is net of tax, the gross is calculated back up from it. Treating a net amount as gross would understate both the dividend and the reclaim.
